These paper tops are sturdy and easy to spin. They are made using a bead and a wooden skewer. Once they are formed, they can be decorated with sharpies. Once you’re done decorating, spin that puppy! Watch as the pentagon shape disappears and your designs blend into circles when the top spins.

AB2: Books Come to Life with Music & Dance
Join Rachel O’Donald of AB2 (Active Body-Active Brain) for a creative music- and movement-based exploration of early literacy skills. The class will focus on a concept of dance tied to a children’s book. A wide variety of music, props and rhythm instruments add to the fun and learning!

The Waterbury Rotary Club is sponsoring a Chili & Maple Dessert Cook-Off to celebrate the great cooks in our community and to share great food with our friends and neighbors. Entries are welcomed from local restaurants, bakeries, dessert makers, and other talented cooks. Prizes will be awarded for the best chilis and deserts based upon popularity as voted by attendees.
