Vermont Antique Car Show Comes to Waterbury!

Revitalizing Waterbury is excited to announce that the Vermont Antique & Classic Car Show will be moving to Farr’s Field in Waterbury beginning in 2018. The Vermont Auto Enthusiasts (VAE) has held the Vermont Antique Car Show at Nichol’s Field in Stowe for the last 59 years, making 2017 their 60th anniversary in Stowe!  RW is proud to welcome the Show to Waterbury and begin a new tradition in our community. This annual event brings over 10,000 attendees to the Waterbury-Stowe area each summer to learn about, admire and showcase beautiful antique cars.  The event also includes an antique car parade through town culminating in a community street dance.

RW is looking forward to a partnership with Stowe to ensure smooth transitions for the Stowe and Waterbury communities, show organizers, and event attendees. Now, antique car admirers and owners can enjoy both wonderful communities.  “Revitalizing Waterbury will be rolling out the red carpet to welcome the Vermont Auto Enthusiasts to Waterbury,” said Karen Nevin, Executive Director.  “We are thrilled to begin a new relationship with the VAE and the Vermont Antique Car Show that will last for years to come!”

Revitalizing Waterbury’s mission is to preserve, promote & enhance the economic, historic & social vitality of Waterbury for residents, businesses and visitors alike.  The Vermont Antique & Classic Car Show is held the second weekend of August each year.  For more information contact Revitalizing Waterbury at 802-793-6029.
