Eleva will also be joined by Vermont’s pre-eminent flutist Karen Kevra and clarinetist Dan Liptak.

The concerts will take place on Saturday, November 13, 2021, at 7:00 pm at the United Church of Christ/Waterbury Congregational Church (8 North Main Street, Waterbury) and on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at 3:00 pm at The Inn at Round Barn Farm (1661 East Warren Rd, Waitsfield). Admission is $25, $20 for Seniors, Students and members of ant Vermont-based orchestra. Students of the Green Mountain Youth Symphony are admitted free. Tickets will be available at https://www.elevachamberplayers.com or at the door.

Eleva’s COVID-19 policy requires vaccination and masks. Social distancing is recommended. Audiences will be limited to 100 people, so purchasing tickets online in advance is recommended. The full COVID-19 policy is available on the Eleva home page.

The Eleva Chamber Players is Central Vermont’s only professional string chamber orchestra and was established in April of 2006 in Waterbury, Vermont with the mission of elevating the human spirit through music. Eleva’s concerts feature fine musicianship and fascinating dialogue that is both educational and inspiring. The conductor-less orchestra is composed of professional musicians with distinguished international careers from throughout Vermont and the United States. In addition to its annual November concerts, Eleva has conducted concert tours of Vermont wineries and various house concerts around the country.

The Waterbury Rotary Club has kindly helped us hold our annual Turkey Drive for the past 3 years in order to ensure that we can continue supporting our friends and neighbors who need some help. This year, we expect to distribute around 120 meals!

The Waterbury Rotary Club has kindly helped us hold our annual Turkey Drive for the past 3 years in order to ensure that we can continue supporting our friends and neighbors who need some help. This year, we expect to distribute around 120 meals!

So, bring those frozen turkeys to the Food Shelf at 57 South Main Street on Saturday, November 13th. You do not even have to get out of your car! We will gladly take them through the window. In 2020 we collected over 100 turkeys! If you are so inclined, other donations such as monetary gifts, non-perishables, and perishable holiday items such as hams or cheese are welcome and appreciated.

With many thanks to the Rotary Club for sponsorship of the event, Village Market for storing many of our turkeys in their freezers, S T Paving and Bourne’s Energy for their ongoing support of the event. And of course, thanks to you, for continuing to show what a truly caring and supportive community the town of Waterbury has.

Written by and starring Vermont actors Alexandra Case and Stephanie Lynn, who hail from the Montpelier area, this “rom-com” movie produced with the help of Hollywood backing is a light romp in the sugarbush of, yes, an actual Vermont landscape--not one that says it’s Vermont but is New York, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, or somewhere is Canada like most other Hollywood films set in Vermont. Lifelong best friends, Sam and Jess, are each other’s everything. But when Jess meets a handsome out-of-stater, Landon, Sam begins to fear she’s being cast aside. To make matters worse, a massive corporation—who happens to be Landon’s employer—is threatening the small-town way of life they know and love in Vermont.
