In this two-session workshop, learn all about relief printmaking techniques and explore the use of design, pattern and negative and positive shapes to create beautiful works of art! Students will first create a design, transfer it onto a rubber block, and will then carve away areas that are not needed. Next, students will ink up their designs and print them on a variety of surfaces including fabric and paper. Students will come away with their own stamps, ready to be used over and over as well as a variety of beautiful printed pieces that can be given as gifts or kept to cherish. March 4 & 11; two sessions. Fee: $75
