The Waterbury Library and Bridgeside Books are collaborating on monthly Silent Reading Parties!

You've probably heard about things like this in other places. The concept is that it's a time set aside to enjoy quiet reading time outside of your house, away from your obligations, and in the company of other people doing the exact same thing!

Bring a book. Read a book. That's it.

Our first one will be hosted by The Phoenix Gallery at 5 Stowe Street.

Chairs are available but feel free to bring a floor pillow, yoga mat, camp chair, or whatever else will make a comfortable spot for you to read.

We will start at 5:30, read for an hour or so, then if people want to, we can share what we're reading with one word to describe it.

Moving forward, we will be at a different location at varying times and days so as many people can have the opportunity to join us as possible.
