We invite you to join us as we play music that truly reflects who we are as individuals, defines what drives our artistic journeys, and sheds light on how we find our place as artists in the world.
We're excited to have versatile composer Kyle Saulnier writing a new piece for us. Utilizing his unique writing style of composing for the musician as an individual rather than for the instrument they play, Kyle will weave together each artist's core sound to create a piece that unites the collective sound of the TURNMusic ensemble.

Through targeted scene study work, this 6-week workshop series will help you develop skills that will build confidence, understand where your natural performance strengths lie, and allow you to HAVE FUN and perform better at auditions as well as deliver results when you are cast in a role.
Participants will learn how to analyze a script for its greater acting potential, apply techniques from a variety of proven acting methods, and liberate body, mind, and creativity in the process. This class is for anyone who just wants to have fun, but also for those who are serious about upping their “acting chops”. It’s also a great way to practice your craft between roles!
Any way you approach it, it’s PLAY!! Come play with us!

Quick Tip: The trick to acting is simply honoring who you are, learning a certain level of technique, and being prepared enough to know what to do in the given situation. And yes, practice, practice, practice.
Everyone’s path is individual so there isn’t a set formula, except to stay committed to finding the best way for you. This workshop can provide you a foundation to build your own process or add tools to your performance toolbox in a safe, respectful environment.
Memorization and some outside of class time communication is required.

Monica Callan (instructor/director) has more than 40 years of experience in theater making and education to share with participants of this workshop. Using fragments of story, sound, music, movement, and audience participation, Semro manipulates the perpetual flow of the natural world alongside the currents of human emotion.

Starting as a duet, this evening-length work expands to include a large cast of dancers and musicians. It is the first interdisciplinary piece created using Matthew Evan Taylor’s compositional system AfroPneumaism: a system where time and action are determined by the breath. Ultimately, this performance invites the audience to breathe with us.

As a victim/survivor of stalking for the last decade, Anna has firsthand experience of how to identify and respond to stalking. She has trained thousands of professionals, students, and military members on the importance of recognizing stalking, getting help, and advocating for oneself and others.

She is one of the very few people who can speak openly about her experience after the man who stalked her received the maximum sentence for stalking, 10 years in prison, in 2019. This is one of the longest-known sentences for stalking in USA history.
Anna is passionate about standing up to stalking.
