Ukrainian Egg Dyeing Workshop

Learn how to make beautiful Ukrainian Easter eggs. Instructor Katya d'Angelo will guide students through the entire process of Pysanky; the traditional craft of egg dyeing enjoyed in Ukraine and Poland.

Using a special tool, patterns are drawn on eggs with wax which is used as a resist and then eggs are dyed. This process may be repeated with other color dyes resulting in multicolored patterns.
