This is a wonderful math art project that introduces the concepts of angles and perspective. Agamographs are 3D style drawing projects, named after Israeli artist Yaakov Agam who makes giant scale versions of these.
Kids ages 8-11 can join us for a variety of after-school craft activities on several Tuesdays. Space is limited – please call the library at 244-7036 to register.

This wand could be compared to the magic wand used to cast the “Lumos” spell as first used in The Chamber of Secrets. Using a stick, 3V coin cell battery and pack with a switch, wire, electrical tape and an LED light, kids will be able to make their own wand.
